DESCRIPTION Wallett’s Court is a Jacobean manor house hotel just ten minutes from the port of Dover in “White Cliffs Country”.There are 17 rooms, some with distant views of the English Channel. There are 3 four-poster bedrooms in the old house and 14 more rooms across the courtyard in converted barns. 21st century creature comforts include digital channel flat screen TVs, DVD/CD cd players and broadband wireless internet access. Lose yourself in bubbles at bath time or get energised in the shower with luxurious Essential Elements bath treats.The oak beamed restaurant has been awarded 2 AA rosettes and serves local and organic produce. Guest can also eat in the conservatory or the library or the lounge or on the terrace in summer. There is also an all-weather floodlit tennis court, boules court and clay shooting range. The hotel showcases contemporary landscape paintings by local artists.

GREEN FEATURES
Wallett’s Court has committed itself to reduce its environmental impact for some years and encourages guests to play their part too.The hotel has reduced its water usage with water-efficient fittings and equipment such as showerheads and toilet cisterns and by using collected rainwater and its own well water. It uses use plant based cleaning products with rapid biodegradable materials throughout the hotelIt aims to “reduce, re-use and recycle” waste glass, cardboard, newspapers and aluminium cans and has invested in state-of-the-art equipment for the on-site treatment of organic waste which is prepared and passed for composting.In 1998, it installed combined heat and power systems in the spa to achieve a more efficient use of energy. It has also signed up to the Hospitable Climates Programme (sponsored by the British Department of the Environment) to meet the EU targets for reduction of greenhouse gases.
