GREEN FEATURES
The building’s Scandinavian style embodies a range of 'green' features. The building is well insulated, double glazed and centrally heated. The owners have been concerned about the problems with the drought in South East England and have undertaken some work in the garden to respond to this. They are gradually including more xerophytes - plants that can cope with a Mediterranean style climate - and hope this will encourage visitors to try out some of the ideas in their own gardensIt has a Green Tourism Business Scheme gold award.
