The restaurant has received an AA rosette and offers table d'hote and a la carte lunch and dinner menus. After dinner, guests can relax in the comfortable lounge bar.
Glazebrook House has received a gold award from the South Hams Green Business Tourism. Proprietors Caroline and Dave Cashmore aim to run the hotel so as to minimise the harm to the environment and preserve the natural beauty of the area.
To achieve this they say they favour and promote local products for menus and raise awareness of local events, festivals and cultural traditions. They use environmentally friendly products. They encourage wise use of energy and resources for both staff and guests and recycling of waste products wherever possible. They support the conservation and enhancement of the natural beauty, wildlife and cultural heritage of South Hams and Dartmoor. They encourage socially inclusive tourism including provision for visitors with special needs, ‘Go car free and carefree’ travelling on foot, bike, boat and bus in and about the area, and the use of public transport.
