Description

Correlea offers days out and residential outdoor activity breaks in a natural environment on the shores of Upper Lough MacNean, outside the village of Belcoo. The activities, with qualified instructors, include canoeing, windsurfing, water trampoline, caving, mountain biking and climbing. All customers are provided with wetsuits and buoyancy aids and there is a fishing boat and equipment hire service for, canoes, surfboards and bikes.

The accommodation is in six self-catering cottages in a secluded woodland setting on the same site. One of these, Pine Tree Cottage, has full wheelchair access and has 3 bedrooms. The others each have 2 bedrooms. All come fully equipped.

There is a barbecue by the lake shore, a jetty, playground, nature trail, volleyball lawn and forest paths. Wildlife including Sika deer, red squirrels, badgers, otters, pinemartin, swans and native birds can regularly be seen.

Correlea has received the top European Eco-label award because it has been judged to meet strict environmental criteria.

It has installed solar panels for hot water.
