The Imperial Hotel is situated in Llandudno, a popular and traditional North Wales seaside resort.

Behind its impressive Victorian façade lies a contemporary hotel with stylish décor. It has 102 en suite bedrooms some with stunning views of the bay. All are equipped with satellite television, direct dial telephone, bathrobe, hairdryer and hospitality tray as standard. Disabled facilities are also available.

Guests can dine in Chantrey’s Restaurant or the Terrace where lunches and light refreshments are provided all day.

The health and leisure centre, Mint Condition, is the place for a relaxing swim or a more vigorous workout in one of the two gyms with an extensive range of cardiovascular and weight training equipment. It also has a spa pool, sauna, solarium and steam room as well as a holistic and beauty therapist.

 GREEN FEATURES

The Imperial has made several environmental improvements.

It uses green electricity and aims to cut consumption by 1% per annum. To save energy and also improve security it is installing key card room controls.

Water conservation measures are being introduced and meters allow it to monitor water consumption and set targets for reduction. Staff are environmentally conscious and are encouraged to introduce practices which reduce wastage.

It sets out to reduce waste for landfill, to increase the number of suppliers collecting their delivery boxes and step up the recycling of paper, cardboard, cans and glass. It aims to eliminate the use of CFC refrigerants and artificial fertilisers, pesticides, insecticides and herbicides in the garden.

The restaurant offers free range meat, organic wine and Fairtrade coffee and, as an active member of “Taste for Wales”, serves seasonal and locally sourced ingredients.

The Imperial has achieved Level 2 of the Green Dragon Environmental Standard.
