The Eco-Lodge

Deep in the Lincolshire countryside

Self catering back to basics ecological cabin

DESCRIPTION

The Eco-Lodge is located near Old Leake, near Boston in Lincolnshire. It is set in 8 acres of tranquil wood and meadowland. A large pond provides a home for mirror carp and other fish.

It provides comfortable living accommodation with a lounge, two twin bedrooms, kitchen with wood burning range and gas cooker, a shower room and a veranda.

There is a barbeque and home-kilned charcoal is available.

This is a chance to get away from traffic and television and find the quieter side of life.

GREEN CREDENTIALS

The Eco-Lodge has been built from wood grown and harvested in Lincolnshire. It was part funded by a European Union, Lincwoods project grant.

The energy sources are wind power and a large wood-burning range. Drinking water is supplied from the mains; filtered rain water is supplied for the shower and toilet.

Organic produce, including milk, bread and vegetables can be ordered in advance from local sources.
