B&B and bunk barn aiming to minimise its environmental impact 
 

DESCRIPTION                                                                                                             

Brenley is an elegant, early Georgian farmhouse on a traditional Kentish working farm. The medieval town of Faversham and the historic cathedral city of Canterbury are close by plus the North Kent Marshes, an exceptional area for bird life.

There are three en suite guest rooms – a double, a twin and a family room - all light and spacious, overlooking the gardens and furnished with everything for the “real country house experience” including TV, radio alarms, light refreshment tray and hairdryer. WIFI is also available.

Home grown and local produce is served at breakfast and vegetarians special diets are catered for with advance notice.

The self-catering bunk barn is housed in a converted early Georgian stable building with hostel style accommodation, two shower rooms, a well equipped kitchen/living/dining room, with a BBQ outside. The building is heated in winter.

There is a swimming pool in the garden for use during the summer.

Brenley also offers B&B for horses with grass livery available (occasionally full livery) and a 60m equi-sand arena.

Maggie Berry of Brenley Farm says they are committed to providing a good quality service whilst also minimising the environmental impact of their activities. They have received a Silver Award from the Green Tourism Business Scheme.

There is diverse wildlife on the farm, both flora and fauna, with bird boxes dotted around.

They are happy to transport visitors to good starting points for exploring the best of the Kent countryside and to loan OS Landranger maps, with suggested walking and cycle routes.
