1. Don’t fly so much
OK, we admit this won’t win first prize for popularity. Especially since air travel is soaring. Yet aviation is the fastest growing cause of global warming. So don’t fly so much. Instead, try using other, less harmful means of transport instead and check out our no fly zone.

2. Fly smart

3. Offset your carbon footprint
It’s payback time. Here are some calculators that work out your own CO2 emissions - whether you travel by air, sea or land - and suggest how much money to give to environmental projects to neutralize the “climate cost”.
